About Jason

My Story:
I spent most of my youth in Ocean City, NJ.  It was a great place to grow up, and I'm glad I had the opportunity to call New Jersey home.  There's nothing better than being just a few minutes from the boardwalk and the beach, and growing up on a small resort island brings a lot of fun experiences and good memories.

I grew up playing lots of sports.  I participated in soccer, football, track and field, wrestling, baseball, basketball, and honestly, anything where I could be involved in competition.  I was pretty well rounded with my participation in local and school team sports, being a lead tenor in our school choir, getting straight A's, and working part-time year round.  I learned how to work hard and to enjoy serving others from my parents.  They led us in serving our community, being involved in scouts and giving of our time and talents when the opportunity arose.

At age 19 I was given the opportunity to serve a full-time mission in the Utah Salt Lake City South Mission for 2 years.  It was a great experience for me.  I'd never taken that much responsibility and leadership onto my shoulders before.  It was a great time for me to learn and grow into the man that I am.

I knew at an early age that I wanted to attend BYU and was excited to be accepted.  I had an absolute blast in my 5 years there.  I worked hard, had a ton of fun, and was able to complete my bachelors and my masters degrees within 5 years of school.  I enjoyed being a part of an A Capella group, participating in multiple internships, losing my voice attending BYU football, basketball and soccer games, winning the intramural soccer championship, and to top it all off, meeting the most wonderful woman I have ever met, Ashley.

Although Ashley and I didn't hit it off with a "love at first sight" moment, we did find each other.  We found that we loved spending every moment together and that we couldn't imagine life without the other.  I have to thank the Lord for guiding me to her.  It was meant to be in every way. Our 8 years together have been the absolute best years of my life.  She lifts me and helps me to be better than I often think I am.  She is my rock and my strength and is the most wonderful mother I know.  I know of no other mother that gives as much time and energy in addition to all that she has given up for her family.  She is selfless.  She is an example to me, and I truly appreciate her companionship and all of the effort she makes to help our child live happy, fun and safe lives.  You won't meet a better wife and mother.

Career:
I'm currently a Senior Consultant at Ensighten Inc.  I've worked with several of the largest companies in the US Fortune 500 since starting in the field in 2008 helping them create and implement solutions to better understand how visitors are interacting with their websites.  My job is to help these companies save money through more efficient marketing and implementation and to increase revenue by providing the best web experiences and targeted products for the visitor currently visiting their site(s).  These roles have given me the unique opportunity to work from home 100% of the time so that I get to be with my family much more often than most fathers.  What a blessing I have fallen into with these roles.

Education:
Masters of Information Systems Management in 2008 from Brigham Young University
