Cousins!

We had cousins spend a couple nights, and it was wonderful! They are some of Seth and Kai's best friends. We had some great adventures together!

We spread mattresses everywhere and had a big sleepover!
We stayed up late watching a movie together and eating popcorn.

Then next morning we
headed to Seth's first soccer game!

It was great having cousins there to cheer him on. It was hilarious to watch a
gaggle of 4-year-olds figure out what was supposed to be happening.

Seth was much bolder than I would have thought. He did really well,
and he LOVED it. I was so proud of him!

We ate at one of our favorite restaurants afterward to celebrate,
and those boys together were making us laugh so hard!

We walked to a splash pad to let the kids play, but none of them were feeling
brave at the moment. It was fun to watch other children though.

We had so much fun together.

Then it RAINED! And rained and rained. I loved it! Driving home was an adventure. When we got home, we threw on raincoats and headed outside. Look at those cute, splashing toes!

Kai and I found some huge puddles!

Seth spent a lot of the time building sand castles and rivers in the sand we
are standing on in this picture. (The sand is there for yard projects we are
working on, but it has become a really fun toy for Seth and Kai!)

My sweet Kailand

The last couple days have obviously been filled with fun, love, and the general nonsense that comes with children. The kids make the work worthwhile when they show pure joy like only a child can. I just couldn't love life more, and it's all because of my family.
